Overview

Description
As part of Detector Electronics Corporations
(Det-Tronics ®) commitment to providing global
system solutions, the Eagle Quantum Premier ®
(EQP) system has been enhanced to support
certification in accordance with the following
standards:
• EN54-2 control indicating equipment
• EN54-13 compatibility assessment of system
components
• EN54-17 short circuit isolator
• EN54-18 input / output devices
• EN-12094-1 automatic control and delay devices. Features
These standards address the European Norm
requirements associated with the operation and • Approved integrated solution

Note
If faults remain after “Reset” has been pressed,
they must be cleared before proceeding.

The following conditions at Access Level 3 are specific

to the state of the EQP controller.

System Controller
The controller performs all communication, command,
and control functions for the system. The controller
supports both “Static” and “Programmable” logic. The
EQP controllers can be configured as a redundant pair
where one controller acts as the “Master” while the
other acts as the “Hot Standby”.

The Reset button on the controller has the same

function as the Reset button on the detection panel.
The Cancel, Enter, Next, and Previous buttons are
used to navigate through the controller’s menu. The
Acknowledge button has no function.

“Silence” has no function unless the option with

requirement is utilized. If this option is used, the
silence button should be labeled “Stop Flooding”. For
detailed information regarding the controller, reference
instruction manual 95-8533.

Normal Condition
In a normal operating mode the EQP controller should
display the current date and time.
