Topic:

This study will understand how marijuana has a significant role for medication and

disadvantages. This will also give an idea when the marijuana starts as a treatment and helps the

patients ease the pain and treat illness.

Introduction:

Marijuana is illegal in some countries especially in the Philippines, but has a significant

role in terms of medication to those who suffered illness where marijuana can only treat and help

them. Scientist proves how marijuana is effective. Should marijuana legalize or let the patients

suffered because it is illegal?

Discussion:

Even before Christian era, marijuana has significantly proven that can give a beneficial in

health, until eighteenth century where cannabis is widely known or spread in other country such

as Middle East, Africa, Saudi Arabia, etc. (Zuardi, A. 2005).A It was started from China where

other country used this treat illness . Many years has passed but still this marijuana using it until

now in some countries where it is legal in using this. Evidence suggesting its use more than

5,000 years ago in what is now Romania has been described extensively of using cannabis.

(Bridgeman et al. 2017).

Marijuana proves that can beneficial in health where sick people can help to be lessen

their pain and treat. In the last three years, cannabinoids have been found to help kill breast

development of Alzheimer’s disease and reduce progression of Huntington’s disease. (Clark et

al. 2011). This also gives to those who sick can extend their lives in this world. Aside from that,

many patients are helped to undergo medication through it and can a trust and without doubting

because on how it feel relief that there is still treatment in their illness. Cannabis is an extremely

safe and effective medication for many patients with chronic pain. (Webb & Webb. 2016).

Although marijuana can treat illness but it has side effects to those who tried to undergo

medication. The effects may vary between light and heavy users and can include feelings of

intoxication, euphoria, altered sensory perception, cognitive and perceptual distortions, anxiety,

dizziness, and increased appetite (Suryadevara et al. 2017. These are the disadvantages after

treatment but it depends on how the body reacts after medication. Since marijuana is illegal in

the Philippines and has disadvantages where leads to wrong or abuse of used .Marijuana use is

linked to several adverse health outcomes, including addiction, impaired cognition, pulmonary

effects, mental illness problems, and other. (Annual Review of Medicine 2016). If using it

through medication is not strictly implemented, others may take advantages of using marijuana

which may leads to addiction.

Since marijuana is illegal, sick people are suffered. In first paragraph, it tackles about the

how marijuana on how significantly proven and how where it is started. In second paragraph

gives an advantages about marijuana where can ease the pain and treat illness and the last

paragraph about the side effects and disadvantages. It may has effects but the most important is

on how you can treat your illness. For me, Marijuana should be legal in medication only in order

to ease and gives their treatment. Imagine how it is effective and not allowing people to use for

medication because it is illegal. How can let them suffer if there is a treatment. Let us give them

a chance to live and extend their lives.
