PARAGRAPH DEVELOPMENT by NARRATION

Instructions: Travel back to the third week of March 2020 when all these quarantine matters
started. None of us had a clue that these things would last this long. Narrate your experience
focusing on what happened to you from the start of the quarantine period up to now, how you
felt about the entire situation, how you have been handling all these things where your
movements and activities are limited, what your realizations are after having survived with just
the basics in life and how you are recently in terms of your coping mechanisms.

Your work has a minimum of 3 paragraphs and a maximum of 4 paragraphs which has
introduction showing your topic and the limits of the contents of the discussion, a body that
discusses your narration in 1 or 2 paragraphs, and a conclusion that summarizes your major
support ideas or restates your introduction.

Use the first - person perspective; be sure that setting, character, and plot are clear; stick to the
use of past tense or present tense in your narration. Use transitions to show smooth relationship
form one idea to another in your narrative.

Use Arial, font 12, 1.5 spacing , justify your paragraphs for better appearance.
When you are done making your narrative, underline the transitional devices that you are using
in all the paragraphs that you have. Use the second page as your format / pattern for the work
you will submit.
This work will also be your Journal 2 at the same time.

PARAGRAPH DEVELOPMENT by NARRATION
Last March 16, 2020 was my last day in School, I did not expect that the semester would
end so abruptly because of the Corona virus. Some of my classmates were panicking because
they had to pack since Governor Gwen announced that all boat transportation would be
suspended. My class ended at 6pm and I had to rush home because I don’t want to be stuck in
traffic, and I was panicking a little, I was paranoid thinking that I could get the virus if I stay
outside any longer. When I arrived home, me and my mother watched the news, we decided
that we should buy groceries that could last a month because we had no idea that this would
last for months. The next day, we went to the grocery and bought all the necessary essentials
like food that we could stock up and we also bought more vitamins so we would not go out more
often. My father is based in Ormoc, Leyte, and I was thankful because it was safer there
compared to Cebu City
