JD:-

The role will be responsible to partner with the Trade & Strategic Capabilities Teams in US.
The team member will partner with the Trade & finance teams on OU priorities, work on trade key issues, establish
solutions to answer topical business questions related to trade, merchandizing, pricing & promotions through
superior presentations/visuals leveraging various SRM tools & databases. The team member will help the OU team
in enabling trade optimization strategies through actionable analysis which will include descriptive & prescriptive
analysis that showcases depth & breadth of business acumen.
Role would require a good understanding of syndicated data like Nielsen, IRI & SPINS which would be required to
provide solutions to stakeholders on aspects of price & trade promotions. Additionally, team member would also
need to have a good understanding of data modelling & analytical techniques and showcase an analytical mindset
to question the status quo.
As part of the trade analytics team, role would require collaboration on best practices with other OUs and also
mentor the business analysts & interns in the team on the analytical & business concepts and approaches.
 
Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Analytics (65% of time)


•Provide actionable insights & recommendations to stakeholders on the performance of trade promotion activities
conducted at various retailers leveraging SRM tools
•Drive the penetration of various SRM tools through customer & sales teams which can help in better planning &
execution
•Provide prescriptive analytical solutions on ways the teams can optimizing the trade spend for maximum ROI
across retailers through predictive modeling & statistical techniques
•Leverage various promotional & pricing metrices from Syndicated databases like Nielsen & POS data to conduct
descriptive analysis on business questions
•Master and own the deliverables in the form of excel reports, tableau dashboards & PowerPoint presentations
and send quality output in a timely manner
•Work alongside of peers and inculcate best practices and elevate the team’s ability to tackle business questions
with value adds
•Demonstrate an analytical bend of mind in all tasks/projects/collaborations
•Actively builds & proliferates trade management knowledge & principles
•Showcase thought leadership; look for ways to integrate better business solutions
•Anticipate customer needs based on business trends and previous projects
