TASK: In small groups, you will create a questionnaire to find out

about different people’s opinions regarding the best places in
Medellin. You will survey at least three people. Then, the whole
group will analyze the collected information and share the results.

Context: International students visiting the university want to learn about

the best places to see in Medellin.

-Amsterdam is in Holland

-Amsterdam is famous because its Heineken beer and “the wallen” one of the world´s oldest
and famous red light districts as well in the 17 th century Amsterdam was a center for world
economy.

-Van Gogh was a representative person from Amsterdam because his paints.

- I think the most representative place in Amsterdam is the Vondelpark because citicen and
tourist go there to relax and people watch.

Holland has one million and two hundred thousand of people not as much as Medellin that has three
million and eight hundred thousand of people in spite of Medellin is smaller has more inhabitants,
talking about the economy Medellin is very helpful to the economy of the country because a lot of
tourist come to visit it, about the transportation Medellin is very similar to Amsterdam because it
has train too also in Medellin the people likes to take a ride in their bikes and it has spaces where
you can walk and enjoy the view. Even though Medellin does not have all the canals and bridges that
Amsterdam has, Medellin have a river too and bridges but not in the same proportions that
Amsterdam does, and the people in Medellin is very kind and fun to talk like Amsterdam’s people.

Medellin transportation is better than Amsterdam because Medellin has train and also has metro cable,
metro plus and tranvia

Amsterdam is more interesting than Medellin cause its river in middle of the city looks like Venice.

San Antonio de Prado is the biggest township of Colombia located in the Southside of Medellin has a
cold weather and a lot of nature, its people is very kind and fun to talk, it has the biggest skatepark of
Medellin beside the library Jorge Horacio Betancur where you can go to practice some skate tricks and
later go to read in the library´s balcony drinking some coffee also in San Antonio de Prado there is a
natural reserve where you can go to do camping and do some wood fire and count horror histories at
night, you can get there only on foot. About transportation you can get to San Antonio de Prado taking
the train and getting off in the last station called “la estrella” and take a bus to San Antonio de Prado.
