Today, I would
like to share with you all a movie that I have watched
before.
Title / Genre / Setting & The title of the movie is Maleficent. It is a 2014 American
Production Details dark fantasy film released by Walt Disney Pictures.
Directed by Robert Stromberg from a screenplay by
Linda Woolverton and inspired and written by Charles
Perrault's original fairy tale and Walt Disney's 1959
animated film Sleeping Beauty.
Main Characters & Characteristics Maleficent
Played by Angelina Jolie. The main protagonist of the
story. Started as Maleficent, a fairy and the primary
guardian of the Moors, a peaceful place inhabited by many
gentle supernatural creatures.

Princess Aurora
Played by Elle Fanning. The daughter of King Stefan.
Princess Aurora grows into a pretty teenager with no inkling
of her royal roots or Maleficent curse.

Diaval
Played by Sam Riley. A captured raven that Maleficent gives
him the power to transform into a man. Maleficent recruits
him to serve as her "wings" in exchange for having saved his
life.

King Stefan
Played by Sharlto Copley. The thief, a human boy who stolen
the jewel that he had taken at Moors. He is an orphan with no
real home. Despite his relationship with Maleficent, he is also
a greedy and ambitious man who takes on the task to kill
Maleficent as a proof to the King Henry in hopes of becoming
the new king.

King Henry
Played by Kenneth Cranham. A power-hungry King and
Stefan's predecessor who tried to take over the Moors.

Knotgrass
Played by Imelda Staunton.

Flittle
Played by Lesley Manville.

Thistlewit
Played by Juno Temple.

Three small fairies, who orders by King Stefan to raised his

infant daughter, until on her sixteenth birthday and a day in
 the forest in hopes of avoiding the curse. Knotgrass, Flittle,
and Thistlewit are easily distracted and have difficulty
supervising Aurora as she grows.

Maleficent soon undoes the dark magic in the Moors,
restoring its former light and beauty. The Moors and the
human kingdom are now united, and Aurora is crowned
Queen of both kingdoms. Maleficent is now free from the

peaceful creatures of the Moors.
