Role Overview

Technical Manager would also be double hatting as HSE person and would assist the HSE Lead in his role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides senior technical and operational direction for the development of policies and
procedures pertaining to all types of buildings. Directs management of all mechanical and
engineering staff and systems, maintaining continuity throughout to ensure quality control for all
properties.
• Oversee Technical operations of Cognizant account.
• Manages all facets as per below for site locations
o inspections and surveys,
o energy audits and analysis,
o HVAC,
o electrical and plumbing systems,
o environmental compliance,
o accessibility compliance

• Supervises and reviews all technical operations to include system air balancing reports,
chiller and cooling tower performance testing; mechanical and electrical system noise and
vibration control, CFC chiller replacement and conversions.
• Develop and update preventive maintenance and engineering procedures, hazardous
materials communications plan, indoor air quality programs, preventive maintenance programs,
budget operating costs estimates and comparisons.
• Oversee implementation of programs to ensure compliance with life safety programs and
procedures, domestic water quality control and water treatment programs to include
environmental and safety compliance.
• Monitor and take control of overall technical assets.
• Evaluate and recommend building automation, energy management and automatic
temperature control systems.
• Perform value-engineering studies and evaluate contractor qualifications and
recommendations.
• Driving sustainability based on the scientific approach of the client.
• EPI and Water Per Capita to be monitored and parameters to be maintained within SLA
• 99.9% uptime of all critical systems like UPS Power Supply, HVAC, Water Management,
STP Operations

• Train personnel and occupants in HSE practices


• Evaluate, analyze, develop, implement and manage HSE programs in line with customer
requirements.
• Monitors HSE regulatory compliances
• Hazard identification
• Evaluation and control
• Accident/injury prevention
• Hazardous materials/waste management
• Emergency preparedness
• Fire/life safety, ergonomics
• Assist HSE lead in implementation of the programs.
