Advantages to Using Celebrities in Advertising:

- Celebrities attract more public through endorsement and their other acts. The products endorsed
by a celebrity get more popular.
- The publicity remains more effective when the name of the brand is associated with some
celebrity.
- More and more people come to look which products our celebrities are using and they go for it.
- Association of celebrity with a brand allows it to be more promotable. 
- Celebrities can influence the consumer purchasing decision.

 At the same time if celebrities promote something like polio dosage or spread awareness
about AID or cleanliness or promote save tigers initiative then it has positive impact on the
minds of people.
 When there is lack of idea in advertising a particular product then celebrity endorsement is a
good option to have as just the association of celebrity with the product creates a great
impact on customer

People like to be associated with good quality brands.


- Brand endorsed by celebrities put less effect on the purchase or selling of a product as everyone's
knows the real picture of it.
- Brand endorsed by celebrities add only a bit of value not to its quality but, to its overall look so that
the product look very good in the market.
- Public has now become smart and they try the products in which they believe.
- People are attracted towards the products use, design and the quality

 If celebrity endorse too many products then after some time they will lose their exclusivity
with the brands that the endorse thus reducing their value for new endorsement deals

 Associating the image of a particular brand with celebrity's image is risky for both of them.If
celebrity gets into some controversy negatively affecting his image then it creates problem
to his sponsors also as their image is associated with the celebrity.For eg tigerwood
embarrassing act compelled some of his sponsers to reconsider their endorsement deals.Its
also the other way round at times,for eg when worms were found in dairy
milk(Cadbury) they got Amitabh Bacchhan to improve the Credibilty of the brand who was
brand ambassador of dairymilk.

Odd - Even policy or any alternative to reduce pollution

“odd-even rule” was imposed by the Delhi government to reduce the Capital’s mounting toxic air
levels for a trial phase of 15 days, came into force from 1st to 15th of this month. As per the rule,
cars with even-numbered registration plates are allowed on even dates while those with odd
ones are allowed on odd dates.

the rule will not apply to two-wheelers, cars driven by women, emergency vehicles, autos, taxis,
cars with differently-abled persons and those of VIP and is applied to the vehicles entering the
city from other state and also a penalty of Rs.2000/- was charged for those who violated the
rule.
