Unit 1.4. Going on a trip – Writing.

Hi Mum,
John and I are having a wonderful time here in Ireland. Every day we got up early and go
for a long walk in the country. When we returned we usually had a very big Irish breakfast
which normally consisted of two eggs, three slices of bacon, toast and jam. We usually
ordered a cup of coffee after breakfast: Colombian coffee, of course.
After breakfast we sometimes went swimming in the river. We often met children who like
to swim there. They were very nice. At night we nearly always drank a few pints of Guinness
in the pub�s bar before we went to bed. We always slept well after that, I can assure you.

On my last vacation I traveled to Bucaramanga, I spent 20 days getting to know the city and
its surroundings, I traveled with my daughter Laura, I paid around $1,000,000 in the tour, the
place I liked most was Barichara which is a town three hours from Bucaramanga, its
beautiful.
It was a beautiful experience, Santander has wonderful places that we cannot miss, super
recommended, it is a trip for the whole family, knowing our country is the best in the world.

The best place to spend the summer holidays, is Bucaramanga, it is a beautiful city, all people
should visit it, they must go to its large number of parks and towns that have colonial
environments, which have not been lost through the hostory .
You must visit the Chicamocha National Park is one of the best parks in Latin America, with
a lot of history and nature environment.
They must visit Floridablaca which is a nearby municipality, which is important for its
wafers, in short they must visit all its beautiful places, super recommended.
b. write two recommendations according to your travel experience:
1. People should visit barichara, it is the most beautiful town in Colombia, it is worth visiting.
2. People should not visit the center without precautions, it is a bit dangerous.
