Much Love from the Future!

Bharatpur, Chitwan

September 23, 2030.

Dear Self,

It's been a really long time since we last talked. You can't just imagine how
much I missed you all these years. All above that thanks for being alive; without you
how would I have been here?

Momma says that I am no more a boy now, but a grown-up man. Honestly, I am just
you with a few stitches of calmness, patience, and behavioral knowledge. Raj, do you
remember the Gulmohar tree, which you had planted that Environment Day of 2020?
I re-enjoy the time when you used to peek outside the window and go out in the garden
to feel its green smooth leaves over your skin, which used to melt your anxiety. The
lovely Gulmohar is now standing proudly, stretching her arms widespread towards the
sky.

Dear Raj, The World has been so fast here in 2030. You remember the few electric bikes
that ran on our streets of Bharatpur back then, don't you? Now, Electric bikes and solar
cars fill the jet-black pitched roads with no potholes, obviously. The morning sun does
rise from the East but neither the hawker nor the milkman arrives. Everything has
become fast, easy, and comforting. It's so incredible to witness the evolvement of giant
technologies and the development of consciousness in people along with the gentle
fluttering of time.
The seeds of humanity and brotherhood that we had sown years ahead have risen up
revitalizing millions of people. Globalization has made everything even more reachable
now. Widespread use of renewable energy and carbon sequestration are dramatically
on a rise, overcoming the effects of global warming. Sustainable goals are being
achieved in a long run. Poverty is gradually thinning to nil and deaths due to starvation
have taken sharp declination. Tolls of accidents have narrowed, thanks to the self-
driving vehicles. Flying cars and exploration to the Martian surface & cosmos have
started to look practical in the decade.

We now see paper money by chance, coins by luck. We have gone almost cashless.
High-speed internet is taking over telephones and students now prefer paperless online
study. 3D printings, quantum computers, DNA profiling, and banking automation have
uplifted the height of human achievements. Medical scalpels and retractors are out,
tiny robots and microchips do the things now. Works for robotic arms, artificial kidney,
electric heart membranes, and memory implants are seemingly possible now. Science
won't be able to defy nature but a challenge to it - Surely Yes!!

The society is no more the same. Everyone is in a rush for a better career. Life
expectancy has risen and infant mortality rates have lessened. Society has been
financially stable with everyone getting a better education, job, and life. Dowry System,
untouchability, and regional racism in Nepal have come to an end. I have completed my
degree and now have a good job. Apart from my job, I love serving society because it
would give me inner happiness. It's been a few years now that we have started a library
for kids and named it "Garden of books". Can you recall your wish of blending the
science of books with the magic of nature? Here, it is. Every day a dozen kids visit here
to study under nature's lap and learn the beauty of living. Our Momma has now
physically grown old but still has the same raging spirit. Children call her "The Story
Grandma". Every weekend, the kids gather around her and she unfurls her story of life
and fantasy, under the calm shade of the lovely red Gulmohar.
Bro, Every puzzle seems a mess from bird view but every puzzle piece does fit and all
the paths do make sense with time. Always embark on your own journey and never look
back. Do adventures, venture out with nature in seek of inner peace. Support the
environment and develop a sense of love and compassion for every creature on the
earth. Time has its own story to tell to every individual. Wait for the right time.

There's still peace, happiness & humanity if we search for it. May the freshness of the
positivity flourish everywhere!

Much love from the future!

Truly yours,

Future you.
