My essay

Hey, You! How are you? Is life getting better? Are things getting complicated? Is life confusing you?
Don’t worry as you explore what this world has for you. Today is May 2030, I wake up after my
window automatically opened and played music as my alarm, I took a bath for almost 20 minutes but
I didn’t have to worry about wasting water since the shower uses very little water and recycles it for
other uses. My smart toilet measures properties of my urine, and looks for health problems. I still
do not prefer to eat a heavy meal for breakfast that’s why I just ate toasted bread with peanut butter
suggested by my Artificial Intelligence Assistant. After breakfast I am ready to pick my outfit of the
day, the smart mirror will help me to pick my physical-world look—that’s my hair, makeup, and
clothes. On my way to school I drove my car which my dad bought for me and went into the nearest
coffee shop for a drive-thru. On the road are driverless cars and trucks, there’s no traffic jam or any
road maintenance. I’m still studying in med school for 3 years, I didn’t give up this dream of mine, it
was tough but I’m still fighting for it. The pandemic in 2020 made me realize that it is really
important to prioritize the healthcare system of the Philippines. As years passed by, we learned, we
must choose a great and competent leader for this country, a leader who is loyal to his/her fellow
'kababayans' not to his position or to other leaders.

Life’s getting better and worse at the same time, the advanced technology here is pretty amazing, it
makes things easier but people seldom talk to each other for being too busy, sad as it is but the
entertainment and addiction given by these gadgets to kids is still a problem as of today. Social
Networking Sites is widely used, it developed more and some innovation were done. People could
freely communicate with friends and family with a smooth and faster internet connection. There’s
this law enforcement in any Social Networking Sites that suspends you from the platform if you
commit crimes and real life to avoid disruptive behaviour and using antisocial words. It is safer to use
Social Media. Some Restaurants use 3D printer for their meal preparations, it is naturally grown,
completely organic, printed food. Scientists are about to develop a flu vaccine that protects against
all strains, and, flying cars is a hot topic of discussion but not a reality yet.

To my 14-year old self, you are too young to be stressed about life and love. Reach out for your
dreams, finish your studies and travel the world. Strive to be a better person each day. Accept that
not all days are good and happy, you make mistakes, you mess up, you fail. Everything’s not going to
fall into place and that’s okay. Life is not about complaining. Life is about thousands of other reasons
to be grateful. Keep going no matter how stuck you feel, no matter how bad things are right know, no
matter how confused you feel. Keep going. Keep Growing. 2020 has been a crazy year. So much has
happened in a short span of time but it’s a great way to kick start the next decade. Life is a
rollercoaster so from now until 2030 just enjoy it. Be positive, keep calm and always smile.
