Comprehension
Read the following passage below and answer the following questions.

How Big is the Sun?

The sun is a star and the Earth is one of its planets. To get an idea of the size of the sun, we
can imagine cutting it into a million pieces. One piece out of a million would still be bigger
than the Earth.

If a car could be driven on a flat road right round the Earth at 80 kilometres an hour without
stopping, it would take about 17 days to complete the trip. If it were possible to do the same
on the sun, it would take about 5 years.

Use a word from the story to fill each space.

a. The Earth is one of the sun’s _________________________.

b. The sun is more than a _________________________ times bigger than the Earth.

c. To travel around the _________________________ at 80 kilometres an hour would

take 5 years.
