Project contours Concerned authority intends to further develop passenger ferry services within the State on the river Brah-
maputra and make the river an alternate means of transport for commuters as well as for tourists.
Investment Opportunities Operation and Maintenance of passenger ferries ( both smaller boats taxis carrying 1-4 passengers ,larger
ferry carrying up to 50-60 passengers) and Hovercrafts
Connectivity All the port terminals are well connected with roads.
Proposed Infrastructure Terminal facilities at River Bank at Notified ferry and hovercraft services to be developed/refurbished by
concerned authority.
