Project contours Nalbari district covers an area of 1009.57 sq. km. and is surrounded by Baska in the north, Barpeta in
the west and Kamrup in the south and east corner.
The Education department envisages establishing a state of the art engineering college by bringing in
private investments.
Favourable Policy environment will lead to rapid industrialisation which will further increase the need
for technically equipped manpower.

Investment Opportunities These projects envisage private investments through an appropriate PPP model. The scope of Private
Partners are as follows , but not limited to;
Design and Construct requisite infrastructure (institute building, laboratories, workshops, drawing hall,
communication lab, conference hall, Hostels etc as per AICTE norms.)
The private partner shall be responsible for recruitment of teachers & staff.
The private partner is expected to frame the curriculum attuned to the prevailing industry
requirements.
Procurement and Installation of machines and equipment needed for the prescribed curriculum.

Connectivity The Institute is at prominent locations with good connectivity to rail and road
