Company Profile

PT Sepatu Bata Tbk (“the Company”) was established in Indonesia on October 15th, 1931 by
deed of Notary Adriaan Hendrick van Ophuijsen No. 64. Operations commenced in 1931.

PT Sepatu Bata Tbk. is a member of the Bata Shoe Organization, which has its head office in
Lausanne, Switzerland. The Company is the world's largest manufacturer of footwear, with
operations in many countries, producing and selling millions of shoes each year.

The Company’s production facilities are located in Purwakarta. The Company is involved in
manufacturing leather footwear, canvas built-up, casual and sports shoes, injection
moulded sandals/slippers and industrial safety footwear, and in the import and distribution
of footwear. The Company is also active in exporting footwear. The Company has its head
office in Jakarta.
