and the F&P InfoSmart™ Software provides a platform for proactively monitoring patient compliance.

Data Communication Tools
Retrieving compliance data in a timely and
efficient manner is crucial to business success
as well as improving patient outcomes.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare provides the
following data communication tools:
• Telephone reporting: the patient can relay sleep data from the
Display screen of the device, which can then be verified using
F&P InfoSmart™ Software.
• SmartStick™: utilizing generic USB technology which provides
large data storage capacity. The patient can mail the
SmartStick™ to you for download direct to F&P InfoSmart™.

and efficacy data.
Data Reporting
Treatment compliance and efficacy reporting is a key factor for
comprehensive patient follow-up and thus therapy outcomes.
F&P InfoSmart™ Software produces comprehensive charting and
reporting of patient data including:
– 30 days of summary data
– 7 days of detailed data
– Cumulative summary data from first use
The reports are divided into five sections (refer to table on back).
The first four sections of the report are detailed as follows.
Compliance Statistics
SECTION 3:
This displays the 30-day period selected Compliance Summary

of days in the reporting period that the
patient used the CPAP for ≥ 4 hours
and the percentage of nights that the
patient used the device for ≥ 4 hours.
