4. Appearance
Shall not be observed any major scratches, stains, deformation, crack, corrosion, creeping and leakage
that may adversely affect actual use or performance of batteries.
5. Electrical Characteristics
Unless otherwise stated, all measurements are to be performed at a
Standard Environment of 20 + 2 &
60 T 15% RH.

All samples are normalized for 8 hours at least at the above environment prior to measurement.
The digital voltmeter (DCM) is with the precision of 1mV (internal resistance not less than 1 Megohm).
The load resistance of the total circuit is accurate within +0.5% of the specified value.

11.12.Disposable considerations
Product: Dispose in accordance with appropriate regulations. If in doubt, contact your local government
office concerned for information. Do not incinerate, since batteries may explode at excessive
temperatures.
These batteries are not regulated by international agencies as hazardous materials or dangerous goods
when shipped. A shipping name of “Alkaline Batteries — Non-hazardous” may be used on all domestic and
international bills of lading.
Labeling is not required because alkaline batteries are classified as “articles” under the Dangerous
Preparations Directive and as such are exempt from the requirements of the Directive.
