Further, the office of the Authority’s Engineer vide its letter cited at ref (1) has requested the Authority to sort out the issues. ‘While the Authority’s Engineer has intimated that acquisition of land from Ch.5+620-Ch.5+750, LHS is in process, no such decision regarding obstruction from Ch.5+480-Ch.5+510, LHS; Ch.5+620- Ch.54730, RHS has been taken till date. It is on record to mention that utility shifting, drain and service road construction at VUP-3, A2 is critically hampered due to such obstructions and discharge of sewerage water of Daun village. Further this stretch is prominent for traffic chaos and waterlogging due to bottlenecks. Chainage as Annexure-1, The Contractor seeks approval of the Authority's Engineer to proceed with the works as per site conditions at the earliest so that utility shifting, Drain and service road at VUP-3,A2. approach including Airport Entry/ exit could be completed at the earliest to take up RE Wall approach work. Regarding Ch.5+620-Ch.5+750, LHS, the Contractor places its confidence on the Authority's Engineer assurance that land will be provided at the earliest after acquisition.
