This Technical Publication has been revised to correct a typographical error in the Fixing Kit 2

GENERAL:
This Technical Publication is to inform the field about the availability of new Quality Assurance Kits for the
imagePRESS C1 and imagePRESS C1+.
DETAILS:
In response to requests from the field, Canon U.S.A., Inc. has created more practical and effective Quality
Assurance Kits. At this time, six (6) new Quality Assurance Kits are being introduced. To accomplish this
goal, the new Quality Kits have been configured in a sub-system structure. For example, there are now
Processing Kits, Fixing Kits, an ITB Cleaning Kit, and a Filter Kit. Components such as bearings have been
added to Fixing Kits to facilitate their replacement while the sub-system is being serviced. Along with the
sub-system structure, a copy count criteria is also utilized. The three (3) previous Quality Assurance Kits
have been discontinued.
