Q3- Now what they can do they can cut down their additional cost which also reduce their
time. Like-cut down in their number of rehearsal, printing, cost of costumes and the
additional builder charges.

For shorten the path we can change our critical path. Now we can take the 5-1-10-7-6-8-20-

Above diagram shows the shortening of the path. This is the new PDM diagram after the
shortening the cast rehearsal days to 40 days. So now the critical path will also change.
As above five options are available now from this we have to choose the best alternatives.
For this we select the first and second option.
1. One additional rehearsal
2. Cut down the number of rehearsal. Because as we have $600 only left over which is
not sufficient for the heavy cost crashing
After this we apply this by reducing the duration of cast rehearsal by 44days from 84 days to
40days. So now the duration of the project is 108 days from 119 days. Because of
this cast and crew members will get three more days as per our budget for rehearsals
($80*3=240). From the extra cost of the budget.
ADVICE
1. We can advise the Francis to give cast and orchestra extra time before the actual
performance day to do some rehearsal the theatre which is better and give more
positive results.
2. Use some human resource from other projects
3. No formal projects plans have been set.
4. The project can be start earlier.
