Indonesia’s Geographical Location

Indonesia’s geographical location between two continents, which are Australia

and Asia. It’s also between two oceans, Samudra Hindia and Samudra Pasifik.

Indonesia's geographical location is also bordered by other countries as follows:

In the north, Indonesia is bordered by Malaysia, Singapore and the

Philippines

In the South, Indonesia is bordered by Australia

In the West, Indonesia is bordered by the Indian Ocean

East side, Indonesia is bordered by Papua New Guinea

Indonesia also consists many islands. There are five big islands in Indonesia.

They are Kalimantan, Jawa, Sumatera, Sulawesi and Irian Jaya.

Some effects of Indonesia’s geographical location:


1. Because the location between two continents, Indonesia can establish

good relations in countries on the continents

2. Because Indonesia has many islands, it makes Indonesia rich in culture

3. Indonesia also has variety of marine products

4. In agriculture, many kinds of plants thrive in Indonesia

5. Because of Indonesia’ location, Indonesia has tropical climate. Beside

that, Indonesia has two seasons, which are rainy seasons and dry seasons.
