Reflection
Watching the movie Little Buddha changed my view of Buddhism and my vocation.
The film tells the story of how a group of Tibetan Buddhist 
monks gibek a reincarnation of a great Buddhist teacher, and how to find a 
candidate in the tall setting of a suburb of Seattle. The pilgrimage of the
monks to America and the Family of the male child with them back to Tibet is 
both a spiritual journey and a physical wholeness.The film indicates that in this 
place, the reality can only be found by breaking away from common
habits than the physical circumstances under which there is no match.
The idea of covering the unknown is a philosophical practice of Buddhism, and it is seen in Jess
e Conrad's family's shifting reactions to the very surprising news 
that the monks believe he may be a reincarnation of a Tibetan master teacher.
He then discovers that there is more to life than
the traditional system that he accepted up to thatpoint. 
I reflected and found that all of my regrets and struggles were triggered in the past by not movi
ng on or keeping grudges. I seethat for me the biggest 
temptations are not girls or academic discouragement but the
materialism that I have perceived from God's blessings.Because if I don't follow this line of tho
ught,I can't differentiate myself from a yuppie,
and being a yuppie isn't going to want to be.
My job will and should be devoted to my brothers and sisters in need, and to God's glory.
