Description
Before you can enrol in this course you must contact the campus or
campuses of your choice for details of information sessions and other
procedures that may apply. Compulsory attendance at an information session
may apply.
This course is for people who want to work with computer networks. It
provides you with competencies to install, administer, maintain and manage
an information technology network according to user requirements.
You will acquire skills in the use of a range of technologies that will
enable you to be effective in network management either as an independent
information and communications technology (ICT) specialist or as part of a
team.
Career Opportunities
Network administrator, network manager, network operations analyst, network
operations engineer, network operations technician, network technician.
Articulation
There are several vendor courses that may be integrated into this qualification.
When you finish this course you may be eligible for advanced standing in
several Certificate IV and Diploma courses in Information Technology.
This course leads into the Diploma of Information Technology (Networking).
