Tunnel of Oppression
Program Info
The program is designed to create an awareness of different types of oppression. The program
challenges the senses and feelings of participants in a safe environment. After going through the
experience, participants process what they see and feel with trained counselors. Though the program is
targeted to the KU campus community, the program is open to anyone. Participants will be taken
through a variety of experiences to expose them to different kinds of oppression, which will come in
the form of audio, video and role-plays
Volunteer Positions
_ Audio runners-responsible for making sure audio/video is ready to go.
_ Tour guides-guide groups through the Tunnel
_ Actors-will role-play different scenes

_ Thursday, February 11 (9am-5 pm) (SMRC)*
_ Friday, February 12 (9am-5 pm) (SMRC)*
*The minimum time requirement is a one hour shift, but you may participate as long as you like.

Volunteer Time
All volunteer shifts are an hour long, please write your name in the box for your
preferred time and volunteer duty. You may volunteer for more than one hour and
activity.
