Professional Experience
Costumed Performer at Busch Gardens-Williamsburg- 5/2012 to 8/2014
In-costume performer during choreographed performances and represented the
park theme between performances, relying heavily on non-verbal communications
to interact with guests.
Also provided a customer service role, providing assistance to visiting guests and
families. Represented the Festival theme while interacting with guests through
communication, dance, and providing assistance where necessary.
Media Technician at Radford University-1/2014 to 5/2014
Gained a skillset in the use of soundboards, lighting boards, rerouting
microphones, and music equipment. Worked both as an individual and within a
group dynamic to ensure the best presentation setups possible in any of three
auditoriums and 20 different media rooms.
Volunteer Experience
Group Leader at Barretstown Hole in the Wall Camp- 6/2015 to 7/2015
Performed a key role in supervising and ensuring the safety of each child in
groups ranging from 11-25 children at camp near Dublin, Ireland.
Camp is specially designed to provide Therapeutic Recreation programs for
children with serious illnesses and their families.

Program leader for Roanoke Recreation Centers Therapeutic Recreation Splash Camp
-1/2014 to 4/2014
Collaborated with others in creating therapeutic program plans, games and
activities for each week.
During the week of the actual camp, leaders rotated from one camper to the other
to provide a buddy system and work individually with them, while taking the time
to lead the activities that had been planned for each day.
Jamestown Sailing Crew- 5/2011 to 8/2012
Served as a volunteer crewmember on a replica 17th century square-rigged sailing
ship, providing educational opportunities to guests and, in particular, elementary
and high school teachers.
Dream Catchers Therapeutic Riding Center- 11/2011 to 12/2013
Groomed and tacked horses in preparation for therapeutic riding lessons. Walked
beside horses and riders, assisting in games and tasks, ensuring a safe, enjoyable
riding environment.
