 What is web engineering?
“Web Engineering is the application/process of systematic and
quantifiable approaches (concepts, methods, techniques, tools)
to cost-effective requirements analysis, design, implementation,
testing, operation, and maintenance of high-quality Web
applications.” – Keppel et. al. 2006

- Web engineering is a development process that consists:

- Systematic and quantifiable concepts, methods, tools, and techniques
- Requirement – Design – Implementation – Testing – Evaluation
