Mat (seat occupancy sensor) emulator!
!
Mat emulator sends to the airbag control unit the same signal
as an operant seat occupancy sensor while the passenger is
sitting. !
If a car is equipped with a seat belt indicator, after fitting the
mat emulator the indicator will be on and the sound of the
unfastened belt will be heard - look: seat belt emulator. !
!
After fitting the seat occupancy sensor emulator, the airbags
work as if the passenger was sitting during the car crash!
- doesn’t matter if the passenger is sitting or not. !
!
ATTENTION! When the mat emulator is fitted, you MUST NOT sit any child in a child seat in the front
passenger seat!!! The airbag can kill the child!!!!

Seat belt emulator!
!
The seat belt emulator sends to the airbag control unit the information that
the seat belt is fastened. The emulator is needful in cars eqiupped with a
seat belt indicator where the seat occupancy sensor emulator is fitted.!

ATTENTION! You must not use the seat belt emulator in order to avoid fastenning seat belts! !
If the seat belt emulator is fitted on the car, you should remind the passenger to fasten their seat belt.!

Additional information!
!
The mat emulator will help to switch off the airbag light only in case when the passenger’s side seat
occupancy sensor is faulty. It will not help when another part is faulty. When the airbag control unit or car
installation is faulty, the emulator will not solve the problem. !
!
The emulator is a diagnostic device that allows to check the car installation and if the error on the
dashboard is caused by faulty mat (seat occupancy sensor). !
The emulator is made for tests only - using it as a permanent solution, you do that for your own
responsibility. !
!
Usually after fitting the emulator the error turns off automatically, however sometimes there is a need to
delete the error using proper diagnostic software. !
!
Sometimes there can be the airbag control unit for newer/older model. If the emulator doesn’t work, please
contact us - we will make our best to choose the correct device for the car. !

Mat emulator!
!
Before fitting the emulator, turn the ignition off. !
!
Fit the device in place of the seat occupancy sensor. Cars for European market has mats with 3 wires: !
• white: signal!
• red: +12V!
• brown: GND!
The device has wires with the same colours. If the emulator is not equipped with the plug, replace them in
the plug - white for white, red for red and brown for brown. !
If the emulator is equipped with the plug, it’s enough to remove the mat plug and fit the device in that place. !
For some cars we have neither plugs nor original pins. In such a situation it is necessary to use special
connectors or solder wires. !

Seat belt emulator!
!
Before fitting the emulator, turn the ignition off. !
!
Fit the device in place of the seat belt buckle. There are 2 wires, usually
blue and yellow. Sometimes there can be another colours. !
In case of any problems with finding the correct plug, find the wire that
comes from the seat belt buckle and follow it to the right plug. !
!
Attention! Do not confuse the seat belt buckle’s wires with the seat belt
tensioner’s wires!!! !
