TREATING GENTOURINARY SYNDROME OF MENOPAUSE WOMAN

Abstract

This is all about women who are suffering from breast cancer to undergo a genitourinary

physical examination before undertaking treatment for cancer. Counseling patients with or at a

high risk for breast cancer is advisable for treating the genitourinary syndrome of menopause

(GSM). Prolonged exposure to estrogen is highly at risk of breast cancer; this is what clinicians

have to know. The necessity of this article is for menopausal women. This can also be for

awareness of everyone. There are issues sighted from the material that was needed to reconcile.

The improper assessment of the patient, clinicians, did not correctly asses the client. They are

considering the fact that clinicians did not dig deeper

According to Ataollahi MR, Sharifi J., Paknahad MR, Paknahad A. (2015), there is an

increase in cancer incidence in recent years. This issue is crucial because it has significant

impacts on different physical, mental, and social dimensions of human life. In this article, the

author focused on one particular disease, breast cancer.

As a woman, I am becoming more concern about this specific issue. It is the second

leading cause of death, which is very alarming. It’s most common in women from ages 45-55

years. Statistics show that breast cancer is almost 1 in 8 women. This reflection is extra essential

to me personally because the majority of my family are women.

The cure for breast cancer includes complete tissue removal, chemotherapy, radiotherapy,

and hormone therapy, which are all expensive. I want to help prevent or lessen the number of

people diagnosed with this disease. Awareness and knowledge about breast cancer and its

associated factors can help achieve my goal and the article’s goal.

Breast cancer obviously causes fear and anxiety to the patient. Just to think of having

breast cancer is already frightening. How much more for those who already have. Family and

social support are essential to a breast cancer patient. This will help them cope and will give

them hope.

Another factor is religion. Personally, belief and the idea of someone above is looking

after us is relieving. It gives me hope and peace in my mind. That after all, struggles in life, God

will give us what we longed for. That God is only preparing us for what’s coming next. A better

future. Same as to the diagnosed patients.

Other factors, such as cigarette smoking, alcohol, genetics, and nutritional factors, also

contribute to having and worsening of the disease. As we all know, smoking is bad for our

health. According to Ataollahi (2015), women that have married cigarette smokers or have been

exposed to cigarette smoking are more prone to breast cancer.

In addition, genetics is also a factor. The disease can be obtained from one generation to

the other, as I have learned from high school. Nutritional and immune system factors are also

two apparent causes. Too much calorie intake will lead to weight gain, or worse obesity, which is

also a factor for cancer. Jean Watson’s Theory of Human Caring can be associated with the

problems present in this article. Through love and care for ourselves and others, we become

more cautious and respectful of human life. This is a positive correlation because the factors

mentioned above can be achieved or resolved if we have a care for humanity.
