Case 1.

December 5, 2016. Sherlock Holmes attended a garden party invited by Watson at

his residence in London. Because the rain is quite heavy, the garden party was
postponed. The guests, one by one, took shelter in the house. Exactly, at 11 a.m.,
the rain stopped and they continued the party. Unfortunately, the party disturbed
back by the discovery of corpse in the garden. Based on the autopsy, the murder
happened 22 hours ago. These are the results of the interview findings of four
main suspects with their alibi:

Thomas :“I have lunch with my girlfriend at Mc. Donald when the incident happens.”

Andrew :“Sorry, I am just back from Australia. I was sick.”

Paula :“As usual, I pick up my children from school around that time.”

Laurene :”My boyfriend is sick and I am with him in the hospital.”

Case 2.

A man plots the murder of his wife. His plan is full proof. Nobody saw them leaving
their house. He stabbed her with knife while driving. She died on the spot. He
threw her body in a valley. He threw the knife carefully wiping his finger prints on
a random garbage bin. Then he went back to his home and no one was watching him
this time as well. After an hour, he was called by the local police department who
informed him that his wife was murdered. They asked him to reach the scene of
crime immediately. But as soon as he arrived at the crime scene, he was arrested
by them.

How did the police know that her husband is the murderer?
Case 3.

A Japanese ship was leaving the port and on its way to open sea. The captain went
to give oil for some parts of the ship and took his ring off so it wouldn’t get
damaged. He left it on the table next to his bunk. When he returned, it was
missing. He had suspected three crew members could be guilty and asked them
what they had been doing for the ten minutes that he had been gone.

The cook said, “I was in the kitchen preparing tonight’s dinner.”

The engineer said, “I was working in the engine room making sure everything was
running smoothly.”

The seaman said, “I was on the mast correcting the flag because someone had
attached it upside down by mistake.”

The captain immediately knew who it was.
