Clause 8

Inspection will only be carried out at RWF, as due to COVID pandemic as well as to expedite the
process of development it is not prudent to depute an inspector for consignee inspection at firms
premises.

To have a fuitful devlopment, the order to each of the firm has to be in such a manner so as
following are fulfilled-

1. The order has to be in multiples of lorry load which comes to about 5 sets. The first
consignment will be restricted to this number. Subsequent consignmets will be dependent
on results of testing as well as shop floor performance.
2. The inspection will involve visual inspection followed by lab testing.
3. The firm’s representative should be present for above testing. However, RWF reserves the
right to go ahead wih inspection if no representative is deputed after a reasonable period of
time. Under such circumstances no joint inspection on rejection of the lot will be permitted.
4. Only on clearance after lab test the brick set will be scheduled to be put in shop floor trials
by SMS. This schedule will also be advised to the firm directly by shops. However, RWF
reserves the right to go ahead with shop trials if no representative is deputed after a
reasonable period of time.
5. The format of trial for ladle brick is to be enclosed with the tender so that transparency in
the methodology of trials is there.
6. The supply involves testing and evaluation of each lot. As such only after clearance of the
shop, next consignment should be despatched.
7. All the technical results will be directly shared with the firm.
