1. The smartphone market in India is flourishing.

There has been quite a rise in the population of the youth community in India. These
millenials are known to be very dependant on smartphones . The number of
individuals owning a smartphones in both rural and urban area has increased
significantly in the recent years and India is currently known to be the world’s second
largest smartphone market .For that reason , Samsung could make use of this
oppurtunity to enhance its smartphone sales by focusing on building more sales outlet
in India . Furthermore , in the 2012 Olympics held in London , Samsung was the
Official Partner for India. Therefore , the Samsung brand recognition can be boosted
thus juicing up the number of sales. (Rai, 2016)

2. Blooming of the wireless chipset industry.


Mankind has never seen a progression in the IT industry like never before as in the
21st century. The rise in the demand of smartphone and internet has caused the
blooming of the wireless chipset industry.Wireless chipset are profoundly used in
wireless communication system whereby a computer or any wireless communication
device communicates with another wireless enabled device. An example of a wireless
chipset would be the wireless local area network adapter cards (WLAN). Moreover ,
the rapid advancement of technology where new and faster frequency bands are being
created every year will enhance the wireless chipset industry. Therefore , Samsung
Electronics should use this as a leverage to enter the wireless chipset industry. The
most prominent participants in the wireless chipset industry includes Intel Corporation
, Broadcom Corporation , Freescale Semiconductor Inc and many more.

3. The requirement of a more technologically advanced electronics.


The remarkable communication tools and advanced in technology has made the whole
world a smaller place. Almost the entire mankind are entirely dependant on
technology from storing our personal bank data to communicating to our loved ones.
Therefore , it can be definitely assured that there will always be demand for a more
advanced electronics to make our daily life easier. For that reason , Samsung
Electronics should invest on research and development programs to produce more
technologically developed electronic products. For example , the evolution from
simple conventional TV that is used to watch TV using a sattelite dish to SMART
TV , where it does not require a satellite dish to stream or download the vast amount
of tv shows and movies that is available on the internet.

4. Further development of software and after sales services.


Consumer these days are more aware of the electronics they are purchasing ,
particularly millenials whom are the majority users of modern day electronics. The
millenials are more concerned about the after sales and the maintenance of the
product. Hence , Samsung Electronics should take this oppurtunity and upgrade their
after sales and customer services. For example , Samsung could set up more service
centres in urban and specifically rural areas . So that , the consumers can be in contact
with these service centres without any adversities incase of any fault in the electronic
