Conditions of Tender] will be made available to each Tenderer and comprising details as set out
in the indexes to such documents.

COMPULSORY SITE INSPECTION

Site Inspection is compury and will be on 20 August 2010 @ 10:00. All Tenderers submitting
this document will be deemed to have inspected the site. Tenderers may contact Mr. Koos van

RETURN OF TENDER SECURITY[BID BOND]


The bid bond of the successful Tenderer will be returned after submission of the Tenderer’s
surety and approval thereof by the employer.

Bid bonds submitted by unsuccessful Tenderers will be returned not later than at the end of
the period of validi
DEFAULTS
A Tenderer withdrawing his/her tender within the period of validity after date of closing of
tender or failing to enter into a contract when called upon will forfeit his/her bid bond to the
Namibia Development Corporation.

SMALL, MEDIUM ENTREPRENEURS (SME’s)
This tender has been structured to include small, medium entrepreneurs (SME’s) as sub-
contractors for portions of the works forming part of this tender. The tenderer must undertake to
outsource at least 10% of the contract value to SMEs sub-contractors.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF TENDER
Good standing in terms of the Social Security Commission Act.

All tendering companies are compelled to provide certificates of good standing in terms of
the Social Security Commission Act.

Master copies of such certificates are not acceptable.


RETURNABLE DOCUMENTS
Tender Form must be completed in full and to the prescribed detail. The information returned by
the tenderer thereto will be used in the tender evaluation and will become an integral part of the
contract upon signing thereof.

ARITHMETIC ERRORS
Should arithmetic errors be found during the evaluation of the Tender, these will be
corrected. Such correction is limited to the arithmetic error made during the extension of rate by
the quantity, thus leading to an incorrect Amount.

SUPPLEMENTARY PREAMBLES
uPVC pressure pipes and fittings:
Pipes for water supply shall be of the class stated.

SUPPLEMENTARY PREAMBLES

The coating systems are as per Plascon's 'List of Decorative Paint Products' unless otherwise

not include a 5% cash discount.
The Architect or Engineer shall in conjunction with the Main Contractor prepare an approved list
of non-nominated selected sub-contractors from whom tenders are to be called.
