Tracking

Now are going to track the project.

before we start tracking we must set the baseline

click on tools then tracking then set base line then click ok

then in the gantt Chart side, right click on the gantt chart pop up box will be
opened

in the pop up box click on Gantt Chart Wizard .Ganth chart wizard pop up box will
be opened

then click on Next , click on baseine line, then click next ,

next then again next click exit wizard

After setting the baseline

select the activity and go to tools then tracking then clink on update task

enter the actual start and then enter project completion percentage and
then enter actual duration and remaining duration also.

then click on ok

if the project dnt have any delay in the schedule the activity will be finish on
time.

A activity successfully finished

then select the B activity its duration os 5 days , per day 20 percentage of work
must be completed.
so that 5 days we can complete the activity

But as per site Condidtion on the third day we are about the update the project
status

we came to know that activity completed only 20 percentage of work so if we want to

complete
that task we need to 2 more days to complete the task

this activity we were not able to control , due to lack of labour , lack of
material ,
weather condition etc.,

because of this activity project completion date will be affected .

Because we have only fourth activities all these four activities are critical
activity.

we know Critical activity must start on the specified start

date and must finish of specified end date else project completion date will be
affected.
Here we are in the same case so we were not able to control the b activity...

we have constrain that the project must finish on time...

so we need to capture those those days work either deploying more labours,work over
time in morning and evevning

so we planned the resources and materials well advance.

Third activity C we completed the activity with spare 1 days time.

and then fourth d activity aslo we finsihes one spare day time by working over
time and put extra labour and
we finished the project on time

Then u can see a white box near task name and the task activity s no 1

then click on white box.. pop up box will be opened in that scroll and get earned
value
u will move to earned value table

u can see EAC , BAC and VAC

For activity A Vac is zero , but for the B activity we have neagative that me we
have put extra amount exteed the budget

then in activity C & D we ilwl have positive value it show the work is completed
under the budget and we have save the amount

Click on Reports u iwll find varies repot which report formate u need you can use.
else if u want to costomize report as we like.
