DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND
COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
Department was set up in the year 2007. ECE is a
swiftly advancing field, with new ideas emerging
every second. Ever increasing pace of development
in Electronics, Audio and Video Communications
Systems and the automation in industries have
made an electronic engineer a catalyst for the
change of the modern society. By considering this in
mind, the department has maintained its high
standards by implementing value added courses to
keep up with the growing demands of the industry.

Laboratory Facilities
1. Microwave and Fibre optics Laboratory
State-of-the-art microwave lab with vector network
analyzer, spectrum analyzers, MIC kit, microwave
test benches, MIC Design software and with
advanced fibre optic kids.
2. Micro Processor and Micro controller Laboratory
Micro processor and interfacing Laboratory with
8085 and 8086 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8051
Micro-controller trainer kits with RIDE Software and
8086 MASM assembler.
3. VLSI Design Laboratory
VLSI Design Laboratory with State-of-the-art
software such as ORCAD - PSPICE, Mentor Graphics-
MODELSIM and Hardware for programming the
XILINX FPGA's and CPLD's . Pentium systems and
tools for schematic entry.
4. Digital signal processing lab
Digital signal processing lab with Texas instruments,
kits and associated softwares, MATLAB with 11 tool
boxes
5. Communication Engg. Laboratory
It is engaged with Analog and Digital modulation kits.
6. Digital and IC's Lab
Digital and LIC Lab equipped with digital trainer kits
and associated IC's
7. Electronic devices and circuits Lab
This is the main lab where the basic experiments like
device characteristics and basic analog circuits are
performed. The lab consist of oscilloscopes, function
generators and power supplies, these experiments
are also performed by simulation using softwares like
Orcad- Pspice, Multisim.

The Department of Computer Science and
Engineering (CSE) was established in 2007. It aims
at bridging the gap between the vast resources of
information and the students’ eagerness to acquire
knowledge. The faculty forms the nerve of the
department. The Internet facility has been
provided, so that our students come out with
knowledge of latest technology in both software
and hardware. Besides imparting theoretical
knowledge, a lot of effort is given on hands-on
training and overall development of the
individual's personality.

The Department of Information Technology (IT)
was established in 2007 and it has been an
integral part of the institute since its inception.
The Department is privileged to equip the
students to acquire technical expertise in the
field of Information Technology, to enhance the

The department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering was established in the year 2008 - 2009.
The laboratories are well equipped and fully
furnished to meet the current and future needs.
The lab consists of different ratings of Motors,
Generators, Transformers and Rectifiers.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
The department of Mechanical Engineering was
established during the year 2009 - 2010. This
department has highly equipped workshop (with
latest tools and Machineries for engineering
education and Training) and CAD Lab.

DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE
AND HUMANITIES
The department of Science and Humanities
comprises of Physics, Chemistry, English, and
Maths. Highly advanced Multimedia Language
laboratory provides facilities to students to tune
their communication skills through trained use of
video as well as audio facilities. The physics and
Chemistry lab are equipped with latest equipment.

CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Central Library is functioning efficiently and it
intends to provide an Excellent Library service
which is vital in the enhancement of Teaching and
Learning process.
 DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING AND PLACEMENT
The Placement cell of ACET functions effectively with
a Placement officer, with an intention of achieving
100% Placement. The Placement Officer is also assisted
by the Staff and Student Placement coordinators from
each department. The Placement cell organizes
training programmes, for solving Aptitude test
questions. It arranges Soft Skill Enhancement
Programmes, Conducts Model Tests, Group
Discussions, Mock Interviews, etc., The cell also
organizes Guest Lectures and Campus Interviews.
The Placement Cell maintains a strong data base of
major recruiters, and builds a cordial relationship with
them. The placement Cell has regular interaction with the industries and gathers up - to - date information regarding
the current trends prevailing in the industry and provides timely information to the students, regarding the
expectations of the industry and their recruitment Procedures.
