Efrén David Saavedra González

I was born on June 4, 2002. I am currently 18 years old. My father is Efrén Eladio
Saavedra, and my mother is Rusanna Guadalupe González Rodríguez. I have 2 brothers, one
older, named Efrén José Saavedra González, who is 20 years old, and one younger, named
Luis Miguel Saavedra González, who is 12 years old. I live with my parents, my brothers,
my sister-in-law, named Freynel Barón, and my nephew, named Iván David, Son of Freynel
and Efrén José, being 6 months old.
I studied up to third level at the Josefa Pascal preschool. Then, until third grade at the
Manuel Piar school, and I finished my secondary studies in 2019, at the Colegio “Cristo
Rey”. My tastes for music started at the age of 6, from my dad. I formalized my tastes to
learn more, and study at a musical institution at age 12, choosing the viola as the main
instrument. I studied at the Carlos Afanador Real Conservatory of Music to learn more about
music, its concepts and its history.
I started working at the age of 15, as a musical instructor in the National System of
Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela, teaching Viola classes to new
members. Throughout these years, I have participated in concerts with the Ciudad Bolívar
Symphony Orchestra, as Soloist and Performer. Currently, I am the Director of the Pre-
Children's Orchestra within the Ciudad Bolívar Headquarters.
My university studies began in 2019, just after graduating from high school. Initially I
chose the Public Accounting Career, due to positive influences from my Mother, Rusanna
González, who, since she was little, has always developed it in a very visible way. Currently,
I am in the 2nd semester of the current career. Also, I am studying a degree in Psychology at
the UBV, started this year.
I consider myself a self-taught person in any area of my life. I can learn very easily
about various subjects, without any difficulty. My favorite subject in childhood was
Mathematics, thus helping me to have greater control of reason and analysis for whatever I
propose.
I am currently single, in no rush to find someone, since "Everything comes in its
time". I am currently suffering from anxiety, but not in a totally notorious and exaggerated
way. This is due to various issues, and I don't know how to determine its origin, but I can
control it. Many times, I am usually discouraged by external issues, such as the country's
situation, and problems worldwide, but I fully trust that God is in control of everything that
happens, and this change will be for the good.

When it comes to communicating, I usually have more fluency when I'm listening to music,
because it has been proven that music makes my neurons and communication skills more
fluid and precise to express myself clearly, and not have so many pauses. I have a more
personal inclination to the humanistic and aid sciences, such as medicine and psychology, to
find that people can feel good about themselves.
About my experience at UNEGVIRTUAL, I have always had a receptive and
understanding approach, as regards the current situation in the country, and worldwide. I
recognize that, although it is not the best strategy to teach, it is the only way to move forward
with university activities, and not delay this process.
At the beginning, it was too complicated to have access to the UNEGVIRTUAL
platform, because we did not have constant internet service, and we all had to be aware of it,
to be able to fulfill the assignments on time. But we already have a stable connection, and we
can dedicate time to it.
About the evaluations, honestly, they have helped me a lot and I learned for the
requirements of my career, and not only within it, but for my entire life. I have interacted
with some of my section colleagues, to agree on some assignments of the different subjects
that we are taking, and they are quite pleasant.
I hope that, during this time that we remain in this modality, it can be of great help and
benefit to all of us, since it is not easy to remain stable due to so many problems that can
affect us, both physically and psychologically. I have tried as much as possible to be
consistent with my evaluations, and I continue with this plan, although sometimes it is
difficult.
