Estimate Requests & Price Sheets

Howdy! It’s Shawn Mansur, the Founder and Author at Stellrr Insulation. Thanks for reaching
out to us about bidding on your project. I am flattered to help and would like to help you.

However, Stellrr may not be right for you. Why?

My team has been swamped with more requests for estimates than we can physically handle.
According to our Accountant, it costs Stellrr almost $100 per estimate that we produce. There
is a lot of work involved.

The demand for our services is greater than we can handle. We appreciate you, and thank you
for your patience. We are trying to figure out the best way to adapt to the overwhelming
demand while we work on hiring and training more amazing people to help serve you better.

If hiring the lowest priced insulation contractor is your primary buying criteria. You can find our
services cheaper elsewhere. However, price is an important factor in every purchasing
decision. We want to our clients to understand the difference of value vs price. I wrote article
on this that you will read when doing your pre-estimate “homework” reading.

I want to disclose our PRICE to you here first, and then ensure you understand the VALUE we
deliver. Your “homework” will reveal the value Stellrr delivers.

If you feel that you need us to review blueprints or come out to the project location, we request
that you help us cover our 50% of our costs to provide the estimating service. Again,
we are excited that you are interested in us, but we must separate the
curious from the serious.

Here is your link to the “homework” e-book titled:

How to Calculate Your Square Footage Needs:

Length — Distance from front to back of the building

Height — Distance from floor to where wall meets roof decking

Width — Distance from left side to right side of building

Length x Height x 2 (walls) = Length Walls Sq Ft

Width x Height x 2 (walls) = Width Walls Sq Ft

Length x Width = Attic or Crawl Space Sq Ft (Excluding Roof Pitch)

Attic Sq Ft x Roof Pitch Factor = Roof Deck Sq Ft for Foam

* Calculate Your Roof Pitch/Slope (spray foam only):

All roofs have a slope or pitch that must be factored in to for determining the sq ft of the area
to be insulated. Don’t forget to add in the “roof pitch factor” when calculating the sq ft of your
roof.

Feel free to send us a few outside photos of your roof (from the front of and side of your
building). We can get a pretty good idea as to the pitch and correlating multiple so you can get
a more accurate estimate of the square footage that needs insulating.

Minimum Purchase — $1,000.00

If your project is smaller than $1,000, we can still do the job, but we will still have to charge the
minimum rate. For projects 25+ miles from downtown Austin, TX, the minimum is $1,500.00.

Upcoming Price Increases:

In the past 12 months, manufacturers across the industry have increased the cost of materials
have increased by 19%. This has been due to a lot of consolidation in the industry, with
mergers and acquisitions. The prices are expected to continue to rise in 2018. We will notify
you of any increases as described in our terms of service agreement that you sign upon
accepting a work order.
