G etting started w ith Sum o

The Sum o user interface resem bles that of other applications for M icrosoft W indow s® such as M icrosoft O ffice® ,
AutoCAD ® and Revit Structure® . It has a ribbon and palettes that contains the tools used to perform tasks such as
draw ing beam s, colum ns and slabs, and analysing and designing structural com ponents. You can add structural
elem ents such as beam s,colum ns,and slabs to yourm odelw ith the click ofa button.Afteranalysing the m odel,you can
design the individualstructuralelem ents using the PROKON steel,concrete and tim berdesign m odules.
