1. Use and scope of application

The instrument is suitable for the determination of various lubricants and other
petroleum products according to SH / T0168-92 "Determination of color products of
petroleum products". The measurement method is to sample the petroleum product to be
measured into the colorimetric tube, and then compared with the standard color to
determine its color number. The color of the instrument and GB / T6540 in the color
number has a considerable, see attached color comparison chart.

2. Main Specifications

1) Power: 220V, 100W, the temperature is 2750 ± 50K scrub milk shell bulb.

2) Colorimetric tube: diameter Φ32.5 ~ Φ33.4mm, high 120 ~ 130mm colorless flat
glass tube.

3) Standard color plate: 26 Φ14 light hole, of which 25 were in order with 1-25 color
standard color glass, the first 26 holes for the blank.

3. Instrument composition

The instrument consists of standard color plate, observation of optical lens, light
source and color tube composition.

The standard color plate has 26 φ14 light holes, rotate the instrument on the right side

The observation eyepiece consists of a concave mirror and a convex lens. Optical
eyepiece with light adjustment and focusing ability.

4. Performance characteristics

5. Instructions of instrument

1, Ready to work

1) Carefully wipe the color tube with a mirror.

2) Inject a distilled water into a colorimetric tube to a depth of 50 mm or more and put
it on the right side of the lid container chamber as a reference solution.

3) Insert a transparent sample into the other colorimetric tube to a depth of 50 mm or

more, put it on the left side of the lid container compartment, and cover the lid. If the
sample opaque opaque, you need to be heated to turbidity disappeared into the colorimetric
tube, the immediate determination.

4) If the color of the sample is deep on the 25th standard glass color, the color of the
mixture is measured after dilution with kerosene. The dilution ratio is the volume ratio of
the sample to kerosene to 15:85.

2, The test steps

1) Turn on the power switch, turn the standard color wheel on the right side of the
instrument to turn the handwheel. At the same time, observe the two semicircles from the
observation eyepiece. The left side is the sample color and the right color is the standard
color. When the color of the sample is the same as the color of a standard glass color, the
reading on the digital disk is recorded as the chromaticity of the sample. If the color of the
sample is between two adjacent standard glass sheets, the color range is recorded. Such as
11 to 12, 15 to 16. Specimens measured after dilution with kerosene should be added to the
indicated "dilution" in the report.

2) Determination is completed, turn off the power switch, remove the color tube, wash
and spare.

6. Precautions

1) Optical eyepiece system, has been properly adjusted focal length and light, should
not be used when the need to adjust should also be carefully carried out.

2) When the colorimetric tube containing the sample is placed in the instrument, the
outer surface of the test tube and the bottom must be wiped clean.

3) Standard color glass plate every six months, must be specified by SH / T0168
calibration colorimetric liquid for a check. If you find the color of the color film and the
color of the color of the color difference between the color difference of a color number,
you should replace the new color plate or send the factory to re-calibration.
