government authorities from time to time to protect yourself and your family from this pandemic.

With the imposition of stringent measures by the Government of India and State Governments
including the complete lockdown of all cities, towns and villages, we, like all other organisations,
have been compelled to shut down all our factories and offices. All our employees have been
advised to work from home and be in touch with all our stakeholders to the extent feasible. We are
sure that you are also doing the same to maintain social distancing.

We do understand that such a situation is bound to have an impact on business, both at our end and
yours. However, I would like to take this opportunity to iterate Exide’s commitment to its partners
and consumers. I assure you that once the temporary shutdown / lock-out period is over and the
government declares lifting of restrictions, we shall immediately go all out to restore normalcy in our
business operations at the earliest. We will ensure that customer-centric decisions are taken on all
aspects of operations, be it in handling of warranties that lapsed during the lockout period or
ensuring supplies to you for meeting consumer demand.
