THE IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

INTRODUCTION

ICTs are technologies used in the educational system that allow access, save, transfer and

present the information, they are present ambit school, thanks to the ICTs, you can access

virtual platforms where it is acquired knowledge and abilities.

DEVELOPING

ICT in education can complement enrich and transform education so much that it

facilitates universal access, reduces differences in learning, reinforces integration, and

improves the management and administration of education. ICTs play a key role in the

development of new educational policies and projects, which facilitate access to education

either in person or at a distance.

Advantage

They facilitate access to information.

They promote new ways of thinking.

It allows access to statistical databases of student academic behavior.

Disadvantages

Information is abundant but not organized.

Tics are a source of distraction.

Increases the risk of personal data vulnerability.

 CONCLUSION

It was investigated that information and communication technologies complement, enrich

and transform education, facilitating universal access to it, so much so that they promote new

ways of thinking, strategies and teaching-learning processes for the benefit of the educational

community.
