The Procedure to become a
Life Insurance Agent
As per the guidelines issued by the I.R.D.A. any
person aspiring to take up Life Insurance Agency
has to undergo formal training for a period of
50 hours i.e. 8 to 9 days (training can also be done
online from home) after which the person can
appear for an examination conducted by the
Insurance Institute of India. On successfully
passing this examination a License shall be
issued by the I.R.D.A.

premium installments
