Themes are divided into two groups: "Light" and "Dark". Files placed into each of
these subfolders will appear in the associated menu within the theme settings in
Twitterrific.
Twitterrific will only recognize files within the "Light" and "Dark" subfolders of
the "Themes" folder, so to get started creating your own, duplicate the included
"Sample.twitterrifictheme" file (which you should find alongside this file) and
place your copy in either the Light or Dark subfolder. Open the theme settings in
Twitterrific and then choose your new theme to activate it.
The theme files are in the standard Property List (plist) format. Twitterrific
requires that the theme files are named with a file extension of
".twitterrifictheme" but any plist editor should be able to open and save them.
There is also a very simple macOS editor available for download at the link below.
The color format is R:G:B where each color component is a number between 0 and 255
and separated by a colon.
You'll have to use trial and error to figure out which colors to change to get
things to look just the way you want - but that's all part of the fun, right?!
