    MEMORANDUM

    DATE: Wednesday August 5, 2020


    TO: Residents of INK by Battistella

    RE: Confirmed COVID-19 Case at 624, 8th Ave SE

    Residents of INK,
    It has been brought to our attention by AHS that a confirmed case of COVID-19
    was in attendance of a gathering which occurred on the rooftop common area space this past
    weekend.

    Please note that this person's identity will remain confidential based on the provision of
    the Personal Information Protection Act.

    The safety of all residents is of utmost importance to the Board and Equium, and the
    following steps are being taken to minimize the risk of an outbreak;

    1. Electrostatic Disinfection Wednesday, August 5, 2020 of common areas such as the


    lobby, elevator cabs and door handles.

    2. Immediate lock-down of the 15th floor common area rooftop and lounge. This will be
    re-assessed after the 14 day quarantine period has ended.

    3. Continuing to sanitize high touch points 7 days a week within the common areas.

    4. Availability of hand sanitizer in the lobby.


    The measures referenced above are part of an overall risk mitigation approach in which
    further behavioral measures will assist to reduce the probability of transmission.
    The combination of hand hygiene, physical distancing and the use face coverings within
    the common areas remain essential components in mitigating the risk of transmission.

    Please ensure that you take the necessary precautions in order to prevent the spread of
    COVID-19 through the practice of the measures identified above.

    The Board and Equium are following all recommendations and requirements provided by
    AHS, and further actions could be taken against any units shown to put the building and
    others at risk. W e are currently investigating the CCTV footage and fob records surrounding
    the gathering, however any residents with any further information are encouraged to provide
    this.
