A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other text
types serve as means of connecting to the world; also how to use ways of analyzing one-act
play and different forms of verbal for him/her to skillfully perform in a one-act play.
B. Performance Standards: The learner skillfully performs in one-act play through utilizing effective verbal and non-
verbal strategies and ICT resources based on the following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery,
and Dramatic Conventions.
C. Learning EN9OL-IIId-5: Use the appropriate prosodic features of speech when delivering lines in a
Competencies/Objectives: one-act play.

A. Reviewing Previous Lesson or Presenting


the New Lesson Divide students into groups of about two to three. It is necessary to have all
male or all female groups. Give half the class card 1 and the other half of
the card Class card 2.

C. Presenting Examples/Instances of the Read a background of the story Romeo and Juliet. Watching a short video
