CHAPTER IV

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED(NTE)

Personal related to work

During the first week of the trainee’s On-the-Job-Training, he felt excited and nervous.

The work in the office was not easy in the beginning. He was challenged to apply his skills and

knowledge learn from his instructors in school. But as time passed by, he became comfortable

because he already learned almost all the work that should be done inside the Bureau of Jail

Management and Penology. As a result, he enjoyed every job given to him.

Work

The work in Bureau of Jail Management and Penology was not easy since there are

inmates around, so the trainee became more alert and good observant. Some of them are

criminals but not all are guilty. They are also good when you treat them the same. The office

14
tasks are not new to the trainee but he still experienced difficulties. He and his fellow trainees

helped each other to accomplish each task given to them.

Supervisor

The trainee’s supervisor was very approachable, kind and generous. He is also a very

good adviser. He taught him new things about working in the office and also his personal

experience in life before he become an officer. The kindness and understanding shown by his

supervisor made him comfortable in his undertaking as a trainee.

CHAPTER V

RECOMMENDATIONS

program. This serves as their training where they can apply what they learned from the school in

preparation for a future job.

self-confidence. Through this, they can develop their other hidden abilities and talents that they

did not practice or use before.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Here are the following recommendations of the trainee:

15
 Students must be guided well in order for them to understand well their

supervisor. Prior orientation should be conducted.

 They should listen very carefully to instructions of their teachers/supervisors.

 They should always put their commitment and self-responsibility in everything

they do.

 And lastly, they should work with joy and contentment.
