Drydock Day 2

GENERAL PROGRESS

Work started at 8:30 am. In general the purpose is to make the boat ready for survey work, to make
note all repairs works needed.

Hull and coating

 Pressure wash in progress.

Classification

 The surveyor will come tomorrow (14.05.2020).

Repairs

 The engines are being made ready for IRS inspection.


 Valve overhauling started.
 Propeller and propeller shaft removal in progress for inspection for surveyor.
 USG gauging started.
Drydock Day 3

GENERAL PROGRESS

Work started at 8:30 am. First part of the IRS survey has finished.

Hull and coating

 Pressure wash in progress.

Classification

 First part of IRS survey is over.


 Second part will be done after sandblasting.

Repairs

 Propeller and propeller shaft removal in progress.


 Ultrasonic gauging finished.
 Engine (starboard side) overhauling started.
 Valve overhauling in progress.
 Rudder removal in progress.
 Renewal of anodes in progress.
 Pressure wash in progress.

Drydock Report Day 9

General

IRS inspected the cargo Hull and engine.IRS ask recommended to fully overhaul engine.

Dock repairs

Steel renewal has been started.

Painting in progress:

- Engine room bilge bottom.

- front peak chain room.


Sand blasting is in progress starboard side and underside.

Seawater and freshwater pump renewal is in progress

Rudder shaft was inspected by IRS and found to satisfactory.rudder bush to be renewed.

Anchor:The shaft is bent.IRS asked to repair the shaft.

Sea chest grills inspected by IRS and found to be in good condition.

Engine: IRS recommend full overhauling

Diesel generator: servicing is in progress.

Valves: overhauling is in progress.

Inspection of sensors:servicing of fire alarms are in progress.

Modification of GI sheet started.

Renewal of sprinkler system started.
