CKMLCP - Actual Costing Run
Functionality
Actual costing run performs single level and multi level actual costing by plant.
The differences are allocated to the issues (single level) and then the differences are passed on to the
next level (multi level).The recalculated prices can then be used for future valuation.
Scenario
This transaction code is to calculate actual cost at the month end. The executing of actual
costing run in a material ledger activated plant is compulsory for every month end.
Requirements
The material ledger is active.

The price determination indicator in the material master is set to ‘3’.
The price control indicator in the material master is set to ‘S’.
Menu Path Accounting → Controlling → Product Cost Controlling →

Actual Costing/Material Ledger → Actual Costing →

1. Double Click on CKMLCP - Edit Costing Run

2. Update the following fields:

3. Click the Enter button.
4. Click Create .

Note: It is advisable to prepare separate costing runs for each plant due to performance issues.
9. Select Goto→Switch Screen Formatting.
