Causes of Bad Grades in English 103

Nowadays good grades are quite essential to secure a good job. Students have to put extra

effort in order to achieve better grades. But sometimes one may fail to meet their expectation by

not getting the desired marks that they hoped. The main reasons for having bad grades in English

103 is not doing regular classes, not paying any attention and not doing any assignments.

First of all, by not doing regular classes will definitely lead to poor academic grades in

English 103. Doing regular classes is very much important as it is one of the key ingredients in

achieving good grades. But sometimes some students often skip classes due to staying up all

night and thus cannot manage time properly, due to heavy traffic, family emergencies, and

unforeseen dilemmas. Because of these, they miss out on important lectures and class work and

later do not understand the material that was taught in the class.

Secondly, by not paying any attention in the classroom will automatically lead towards

having a bad CGPA. It very crucial to pay attention during the class but if the student fails to do

so then it increases their study time as they need some time to understand the topic. No textbook

can disclose a remark like someone else can. Also by not focusing, they cannot further compete

with their classmates as they fall behind them in term of studies. This is one of the causes of

having bad grades in English 103.

Lastly, by not doing any assignment will result in bad grades in English 103 as one may

miss out on valuable marks. Every mark matters when it comes to securing good grades in

English 103. But by doing silly mistakes, not submitting on time and not following the

instruction may result in poor academic marks. Also due to lack of motivation students may not

understand the true benefit of doing assignments.


Therefore, by not attending daily classes, lack of attention and not doing classwork are

main elements that lead towards to having bad grades in English 103. So, students must focus on

these and try to improve in order to have better grades in English 103.
