Objectives:
1. Discuss the proposed Action Plan of SASEC Initiatives, 2021-2023
2. Discuss the proposed strengthening of SASEC institutional mechanisms

Expected Participants:
1. SASEC nodal officials, and senior officials from ministries/agencies responsible for finance,
planning, customs, commerce/trade, transport, rail, shipping, industry, energy, and/or tourism
2. Staff and consultants of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)
3. Representatives of selected development partner agencies who have interest in regional projects
in SASEC, and who will attend as observers

respective delegation members. Representatives of development partners agencies
will also be asked to introduce themselves

1310 – 1440 Session 1: The Proposed Action Plan of SASEC Initiatives, 2021-2023
Brief presentation by ADB followed by remarks from each of the country
delegations. Comments from representatives of development partner agencies will
also be requested.

1440 – 1530 Session 2: Proposed Strengthening of SASEC Institutional Mechanisms

Brief presentation by ADB followed by remarks from each of the country
delegations.

1530 – 1535 Closing Session

Brief wrap up by the Moderator.
