Budapest – Tétel

Budapest is the capital city of Hungary, Which is situated almost in the middle of the country
by the river the Danube, which devides the city into two parts. Theese are Buda and Pest.
Buda is hilly while as Pest is the industrial part. The population of Budapest is about 1.8
million. Many people live there because the job opportunities are much better than in any
other big cities. People usually use the means of Public Transport which are as follows
- trolley buses
- trams
- buses
- HEV
And the best is the underground which is fast environment friendly and doesn’t cause a traffic
jam. The population of the city doubles in the summer when many tourists arrive from other
countries. They usually take open-topped sightseeing buses to have a look around. The nicest
historic buildings are the House of the Parliament, Matthias Church, Saint Stevens Cathedral,
Fisherman’s Bastion, the Castle of Buda and the Castle of Vajdahunyad in the famous City
Park. You can also go to Heroes Square see the animals in the ZOO, or have a rest in the city
park, or on Margit-island. Adam Clark designed Chain Bridge which is well-known in the
world. Budapest looks beautiful at night.
